Dr. Harris has been teaching at Northwestern College for over 30 years! 
Her positions at Northwestern have included:Arts and Science Division Chair (1983-4), Communication Division Chair (1985-1990), Second Languages and Cultures Department Chair (1995-6), Coordinator: TESL Program (Teacher Preparation for ESL/EFL) (1996-2004)

 

 

 

 

Dr. Harris and her husband have been contributing to the development of education in Tanzania.

Dr. Harris was advisor to the first Fulbright recipient at Northwestern (Katrina Custer)

Dr. Harris is very involved in the International TESOL Organization.

Dr. Harris was Chair of the English-as-a-Foreign-Language Interest Section of TESOL in 2003 and 2004 and is Chair Elect for 2008.
